On my lands I have let famine fall,
I have let winter reign.
I have let ivy lie,
likewise web and rust remain.
Now I have returned, footloose, new bridges burned.
I am come home, to her,
that once I had unlearned.
The lost Autumn queen came home again, she flew with geese by starlight.
Acorn and chestnut called her name,
as did rain and flame and twilight.
