This is a mix of two negatives. While developing the picture in Utrecht last summer I was experimenting with creating a mix out of two different black and white negatives. This was the best one. I like the lines of the trees growing out of Eefke's hair. It's like you can see into her dreaming mind, or inside her body, where the bloodvessels run. Everytime I do a photograph I feel that the whole proces of taking pictures and developing them in a dark room is very... magical.
