Once a librarian in Boulder. Also called "Grim".
She manifested her abilities for casting illusions
after reading an inherited store of fairytale books
for four days straight. Unfortunately, she can't herself
tell the difference between her own creations and
reality. But consequently, she's seldom lonely.

Eefke and Tree

This is a mix of two negatives. While developing the picture in Utrecht last summer I was experimenting with creating a mix out of two different black and white negatives. This was the best one.
I like the lines of the trees growing out of Eefke's hair. It's like you can see into her dreaming mind, or inside her body, where the bloodvessels run. Everytime I do a photograph I feel that the whole proces of taking pictures and developing them in a dark room is very... magical.
